Swatch BLACK-ONE Chronograph

To mark the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus (the one with Walter Gropius, not Peter Murphy), Swatch debuted a commemorative line of watches called Bau. Some are more style over substance and that's fine—these are Swatches, after all—but legibility and functionality are pretty important when it comes to chronographs. Fortunately, the collection included the BLACK-ONE chrono. Not to be confused with all the other black watches Swatch makes, the BLACK-ONE follows the Bauhaus ethos of simplicity over ornamentation, then adds a splash of color that not only pops but adds the movement's emphasis on function.
